TOKYO — A Tokyo shop owner was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of selling the illegal drug "Rush" (isobutyl nitrite), the police said.
Yasuyuki Sugimoto, 38, president of retailer Chic Avenir in Tokyo's Setagaya Ward, is suspected of selling 48 bottles of Rush to 11 people for a combined 45,000 yen via the Internet from January to November last year, in violation of the Pharmaceutical Affairs Law.
